Part 1: Is God A Man?

Hello, I am glad you have chosen my website as a place of knowledge and spiritual growth. There are a few things that I would like to clear up when it comes to God. God (often referred to as a human) is a spirit, not a man (Numbers 23:19). Although God has been on this earth many times fashioned as a man (Hebrews 7:1-3), most notably as Jesus Christ, Jesus was not of this world. His ethnicity was not of black, white, yellow, red, or brown people, for Jesus was not of the human race in any way (John 1:13-14). With the flesh of the heavens, God sent forth His Son through the womb of a woman (Galatians 4:4). The angel said unto her, “the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee. Therefore, also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35) God put all the needed ingredients into Mary, for Jesus had to be perfect without human sin. Jesus was the spotless Lamb of God Who knew no sin. He was not a man born out of a sinful bloodline. He was God in the flesh.   The first Adam was earthly, but the second Adam (Jesus) was the Lord from heaven. Jesus is everyone’s God (Acts 10:34) and will save those who believe in Him (John 1:12).

Part 2: So why did Jesus Come to earth as a man?

Jesus’ sole purpose for coming to earth was to be a ransom for many and to stand as an example of how we should live in peace and love one another (1 Peter 2:21).

Part 3: So, why do we need to be saved?
Because of what I like to call the “Scenario of God’s Love.”

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God saw all He made was very good (Genesis 1:31). God gave the angels and humankind free will (Proverbs 16:9); God knew man would not always be able to do what was right. One-third of God’s heavenly host and mankind rebelled from God’s law (Genesis 6:5-7). However, God had a plan to save us(humans) from ourselves, to bring humankind back to Him. By His law, without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin (Hebrews 9:22), plus no greater love is there than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). By these two laws, God would prove His overwhelming love for us. To forgive humankind, a sacrifice through bloodshed would have to be made of one who is perfect and without sin. God promised in the Garden of Eden that He would do this (Genesis 3:15); thus, Jesus came and gave His life to save ours. Without this sacrifice, all of mankind would have been lost.

Part 4: How do we know the Bible is true?

The Bible proves itself by the many fulfilled prophesies written within the scriptures; just take a moment to think about that. A prophet named Isaiah wrote about a child that would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14) , and suffer a horrible death. Isaiah wrote his chapters of the Bible between 740 B.C. and 686 B.C. (Isaiah 53:1-12). Isaiah gives details about a child’s birth, life, and death about 700 years before Christ is born (Isaiah 9:6). Around 70 A.D, the apostles documented Christ’s birth, as well (Matthew 1:18-25). The Roman historian and senator, Tacitus, recorded that Pontius Pilate executed Jesus; this was written around 116 A.D. Also, if you except the faith and teachings of God, he will reveal himself to you in dreams and visions (Joel 2:28). You also come aware of His Healing powers. Furthermore, the Bible was written by God; one may view this as a secretary taking dictation. For holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:21).

Part 5: So, why is Jesus coming back?

John said he saw a new heaven and earth coming from God out of heaven? Jesus said,

“I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there we may be also. (John 14:2-3)

Part 6: In the meantime …

In Matthew 28, Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying,

18 All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye, therefore, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.

By the way, who gave Him the power? We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and was, and is to come; because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power and hast reigned (Revelation 11:17).

Part 7: Spreading God’s Word

So, no one is perfect, but we all can try to live right. Tell people about God’s goodness; try to make the world a better place. This is what Jesus asks of us (John 13:34). So, it is for this reason I have made this site. We all have a mandate from God to spread His word. All to witness, some to evangelize, some pastors (Ephesians 4:11-16). To join God’s family,

  1. Repent
  2. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior
  3. Be baptized in Jesus’ name.

Please do these 3 things above and find a Bible-teaching church to continue to grow in grace. For prayer, communion or water baptism you can contact us. Thank you for your time.
